Its been a long time since we have uploaded this blog, but well, we have come a long way. First of all, we have finally been able to pass prelims. Now, its soon going to be semis, and here is our preparation:
1. We have finished the circuit design.
2. We have tried to make the prototype, which is coming along nicely.
3. We have managed to think of future considerations.
4. We have come up with the powerpoint.
However, we have not managed to do these:

Progress...
Tomorrow is the Prelim 2 and we are very excited about it. Slides are being updated, final touch ups are being done. We also have to practice presenting; we did not do it the last time and the presentation turned out to be a mess. We have already consulted the mentor and he is pleased with our progress. We have learned from our last mistake of leaving everything to the last minute, and changed. Now, all there is to do is wait...

Finally!!!
Finally, a project idea has been accepted by our project mentor. It is the Reading light sensor. It is a product which will help in determining the amount of light needed for reading and working. It can also have other modes, like relaxation mode, or intense work mode, etc. It is targeted at students and working adults who d are suffering from eye strain. We have done research and found that while too much light is not good for eyes, too little causes eye strain. Also, switching on too many lights wastes alot of electricity, thus it is best to know if the light is suitable for reading.

1st post
Hi all, this is our inventors' log for Projects Day 2010.
Anyway, we have come up with an idea, but still don't know whether it will work well. We hope that it will get accepted by our project mentor. After all, we have already failed 6 times in total. Thanks, and bye.
